MY ENGLISH COMPETENCE 2010

I think that I was getting better on this year, in all areas. In the orals presentation I think that my freedom, my pronunciation and my vocabulary are better as well the podcast because the last one is much better than the podcast of last year because I’m not so nervous to talk. About the exams, it’s more complicated and I think I have maked a good progress for this course, and in the last review I got a 6. In the writing I was learning a lot of the new expressions.

For me “English class” is the best your say that I made in this course and the oral presentation “My research project”, part of the second term. As regard the activities more helpful I think that the blog, although it’s difficult. Help because is the fifty per cent of the mark, you have time to prepare yourself and also improve the level of English of the person in general, and with the oral presentation you can improve the vocabulary, pronunciation, the nervous, attention, etc.

I think that all the activities of the course are good, because if not it doesn’t exist. Of course all the activities are helpful, for example reding, listening, the activities that we do in the Idiom Class.

In general it seems all good and you learn a lot. But the more funny is the Blog, because you can give your opinion about a lot of subjects. I think apart from to be a interesting is more important for learning and is a good opportunity to get a good mark because you have a long time to do it.

I have been happy to do again "your says" and augment my level of English a little bit.

Mr. Watermelon: I work from 8 am to 8 pm but I stop to eat.

Me: This work is very difficult?

Mr. Watermelon: Is more easy than years ago but you can be work a lot of hours.

Japan's disaster

Last 11th of march 2011 was a tsunami in the Eastern of Japan and distroy the coast of Japan.

The tsunami swept everything found and caused that the people died, were approximately 6400 but there are missing persons.

Still some people died because they don't have food or drinking water and neither a place to live.

Appart of this problem have had another problem more dangerous and is the nuclear power station, because the tsunami caused a problem in Fukushima and the refrigeration system didn't work. For this reason the Japan's government is concerned with this problem because the Power Station can exploit and this could cause nuclear pollution.

I think that the nuclear energy is neccessary to have to live like today but is dangerous and I don't like a lot because the same earthquake can occur here in Europe If the tectonics plates move.

I think that nowadays the Nuclear Power is very important to us because the people need energy to have light, for the computers to work, in general to live in heaven.

In Japan there are many problems now with the Nuclear Energy and a lot of people died.

The problem is, when you build a Nuclear Station, I think that the level about the life that we have everyday depend to this energy and the responsability.



Moreover I think that we can end with this problem but we can not have the same life.
Finaly Nuclear Power is necessary but and also dangerous.

20% of the world's population consumes 80% of its resources

Nowadays the world is very unbalanced, as saying reads only 20% of the world population consumes the most resources. This is together with others the problem of the poverty and is a thing to keep in mind.

The poverty is a thing that affects very people and the mass media don't show the reality of this problem, soften the reality by the word.

On the one hand the rich countries engaged in abuse of resources and just use and throw this instead of provide assistance to undeveloped countries that need to live in fine fettle.

On the other hand we spend on wars much money with which the poverty would be finished, for example the war to USA vs Irak only for oil.

I think that is possible to finish the poverty but the rich people don't want and therefore the undeveloped countries will have no resources to live.

OBJECTIVES

- I wanted to build a cheap buggie with recycle material.

- Have new knowledge, for example learn to do a good weldings because are necessary to do a buggie.

- An also the entertainment because I love motor sports.

CHASSIS

- Own design because I wanted to do a buggie that were diferent to the rest.

- Use recycle materials, for example stell, iron, aluminum....

- You must use diferents tubes because the mesure depend to the force that must support.

DIRECTION

- I took the direction to the Seat Terra, this Seat gave to my father because the engine was broken.

- I haved problems with suspension because at first, I put a motorbike suspension and not working.

- Therefore I changed the direction and I put the Seat Terra suspendion and the results was incredible.

ENGINE

- I bought this engine in Llers for 300 euros and is a 150cc and for- stroke, refrigeration by air, electric start and is Japanesse.

TRANSMISSION

- I took the trapezes in Jaén and I brought here and I placed in my bugggie.

CONCLUSION

- I think that I met a very good project, was very difficult but I 'm very happy to this achievement.


SELF AVALUATION

My opinion about my oral presentation is very good because I think that I worked harder and the result was incredible.

I am pleased to my oral presentation because this oral has been better than the first, the vocabulary, the explanation, in general all.

For me the mark of this oral must be a 7 because I have tried and the teacher says to me, I think that this is the best Oral Presentation that I've done.

I would like to talk about my friend Cristina. I am very lucky to have her.

Cristina isn't high and thin. She has got atractive face with bright green eyes and a big mouth. She has brown hair. She is beautiful, especially when she smiles.

She always is in a good mood. We have the same hobbies and sometimes the tastes.

She is a part of my family. I trust her very as I trust my family. I find her very honest; she always says what she thinks. Always we go shopping and she help me with the clothes

I don't know how it is possible but I am never bored with her.

I hope our friendship will be long and won't ever end.

Human rights are rights and freedoms to which all humans are entitled and doesn't matter the distinction about the humans ( colour, ideas,race....).

They were created to remove the problems with the humans as there were many people enslaved and they hadn’t a protection for them.

5. Which human right were you not familiar with?
I think that I am familiar with it, because are very important and necessary for persons to live in peace and harmony. Therefore the human rights are very important and the first is as important as the last.

Because sometimes does not occur for example in the disco, if the porter doesn’t want you enter no reason. Today this human right not meet fully but thirty or forty years ago the policeman lived abusing everyone.

The human rights are very important for the people can live happy because if this rights not met, we wouldn’t a good live.
I think that must be more rights to have a perfect live.

Computer have made the world a better place discuss

A computer is a programmable machine that receives input, stores and manipulates information, and provides results in a useful format and also is a good thing because you can do diferents works with them.

On the one hand, you can do is speak with your friends with social networks and also meet another friends.

On the other hand, you look for information about a lot of things and works.

The computers are god because is possible do your work, meet diferent people and also have a new friends or a girlfriend.

But new tecnology often has both positive and negative effects, this is a good example of this, one small girl catch the computer and open the "messenger".

One man lie a girl and at the end the men see the girl maked with the cam and control here life.

All in all, there are many problems with computers and must be finished,but in spite of that the computers are a necessary tool nowadays.

I’m Alex Muñoz and now I explain with you, the ideas that I have for the future.
For the short-term goals I want study engineering in Madrid. I want study there because I have an aunt and would live in here house and also I like estudy in Madrid because so I can see the Real Madrid, my favourite team. I think that it’s posible but I must struggle.

If I finish study I will go to Jaén because there, I have two houses where I can live moreover are my family, my friends and there is where I was born.
I want live in Jaén because there I enjoy very much, and there are more parties and my favourite is Christmas and also when I go to Jaén I see my favourites friends that there are very friendly and very good persons.

Who knows it’s posible that I have a girlfriend I don’t know but is my challenge.
I believe that I deserve and to do it, I don’t neglecting my work and no excuse for not try.

- I used a powerpoint for my Oral and I think that thats very well because there are images and not very letter.

- The body language is not very good but I saw my audience and I think that I readed a little bit. An also I think that I was not very nervous.

- For doing the oral presentation I have use the grammar of the class book and also the word reference, I think that I don't use a very good pronunciation but it's not really bad.

- Moreover I think that my information was good and the time about this Oral presentation has lasted 5 minuts and it has to be about 5 minuts and thats good for the mark.

- In general I think that the first Oral presentation was not very good but the mark would must be a 5, because I have effort.
